Sometimes strength means being soft with yourself..

Sometimes strength means looking after yourself..

We are so conditioned to think that strength = "do it all, even if you are scared"

But this sometimes means overriding our bodies and instincts, even when they are telling us to slow down, take a breath, or even... change direction entirely.

So many of us have lost the art of listening to our own wisdom and gut feelings.

We PUSH through life without any awareness of what messages our internal systems are trying to send us.

Strength takes many forms - the ability to say no, to form a boundary, to change the course of our day, our week, our entire lives. To slow down and give yourself time to breathe, despite the demands and pressures of the external world. These are all elements of what it means to be truly strong.
